lace dreams
Did we ever mention we like anything girly, feminine, sweet and vintage? Just in case you didn’t get that fut feeling from our floral background or our Marie Antoinette-inspired banners, well, we’re telling you now. We love all things girl! And since it doesn’t get more dainty than lace, we had to finally share our embarrasing infatuation with this delicate fabric.
Lace first appeared on the fabric scene in the 15th and 16th centuries, and has been used in clothing, decorating, and art ever since. It’s utterly sensual and feminine without being vulgar. It shows just enough flesh to excite curiosity, and that’s why we believe lace was meant to be worn by us! (And by “us”, we mean beautiful, gorgeous goddesses of feminine desire! Duh.)
It perfectly compliments every woman’s features, and exudes a veil of both class and mystery. Try incorporating an item or two of lace in your wardrobe to give it a much-needed effeminate flair, be it a pair of cheeky undergarments or a beautiful dress with just a hint of lace at the bodice!

So DUJOUR wants to know…actually we are dying to know, just how do you dolls wear your lace? Leave a comment below for a chance to win a free copy of our lace adorned Virgin Issue!

I’m in love with lace too.I wear my lace tops with a pair of old jeans or a short skirt and chunky boots.
These photos are gorgeous,I adore lace, especially vintage..I’ve made a few lace cuffs with old mother of pearl buttons and sequins as adornment, I also Love Balconnette bras with lace in dusty pastel tones and lace trims on camisoles.
